A prosthodontist is a dentist who specializes in prosthodontics. Prosthodontists specialize in the restoration of oral function, restorations, replacement of teeth and esthetics. These include: complete and removable partial dentures, dental crowns, dental bridges, retained/supported restorations. Extensive training and experience provide prosthodontists with a special understanding of the dynamics of a smile, the preservation of a healthy mouth and the creation of tooth replacements.
